    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, It is a pleasure for the Senate of the
    1-3  State of Texas to recognize Jalal Zarif who is celebrating his
    1-4  10th birthday today, February 9, 1993; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The occasion of a 10th birthday is a most important
    1-6  occurrence in the life of a young man; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Curious about what life holds for him, Jalal is
    1-8  always eager for new adventures and experiences; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Born on February 9, 1983, Jalal is in the fourth
   1-10  grade in Spring Valley Elementary School in the Richardson
   1-11  Independent School District; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Blessed with a good sense of humor, Jalal is
   1-13  popular with his fellow students who all enjoy his friendship;
   1-14  now, therefore, be it
   1-15        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-16  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere birthday greetings with
   1-17  many happy returns to Jalal Zarif; and, be it further
   1-18        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   1-19  Jalal as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate and
   1-20  as a memento of this special day in his life.
