    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                           Margaret Sullivan
    1-5        WHEREAS, The death of Margaret Sullivan of Crockett, Texas,
    1-6  on December 29, 1992, was greatly mourned by her fellow residents;
    1-7  and
    1-8        WHEREAS, A native of Louisiana, Mrs. Sullivan was born on
    1-9  June 25, 1914, and had lived in Crockett for 49 years where she
   1-10  was active in the life of the community; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, The death of the beloved individual is a profoundly
   1-12  sensed loss for her family and friends; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, A devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Sullivan was a
   1-14  devout Christian who lived her faith in her daily life and was
   1-15  a member of the First Presbyterian Church; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Her strength of character and purpose were readily
   1-17  apparent to all who knew her and to all whose lives she touched; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who
   1-19  were privileged to share the friendship of this esteemed woman;
   1-20  now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to
   1-23  the family members of Margaret Sullivan:  her daughter and
    2-1  son-in-law, Sally and Richard James; her sons and daughters-in-law,
    2-2  Wade and Vida Sullivan and Carroll and Dorian Sullivan; her seven
    2-3  grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Dickson, Lois Graham, and
    2-4  Loretta Torma; her sister-in-law, Marguerite Knight; and her
    2-5  nieces and nephews; and, be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-7  the members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from
    2-8  the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do
    2-9  so in memory of Margaret Sullivan.
