    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                         Dianne Ellen Lauletta
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins with the
    1-6  citizens of League City in mourning the untimely loss of
    1-7  Dianne Ellen Lauletta who died February 16, 1993, at the age of
    1-8  48; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Respected in the community for her many
   1-10  accomplishments, Dianne Ellen Lauletta was the high school
   1-11  sweetheart and wife of John F. Lauletta, Sr., and the mother of
   1-12  two children; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, An exemplary lady and well-known community leader,
   1-14  she was an officer of the Duchesne High School Booster Club in
   1-15  Houston and a member of the Texas A&M 12th Man Foundation and Aggie
   1-16  Moms; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Active in local politics, she assisted with numerous
   1-18  voter registration drives and was a member of the Bay Area
   1-19  Republican Women's Club; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, A woman of many talents, Dianne Lauletta was an
   1-21  accomplished artist and was fluent in Spanish; an excellent sailor
   1-22  who had learned celestial navigation, she was an active member of
   1-23  Lakewood Yacht Club; and
    2-1        WHEREAS, Mrs. Lauletta was an avid reader and an outdoors
    2-2  enthusiast who enjoyed tending her vegetable garden; and
    2-3        WHEREAS, A woman of integrity, strength, and generosity, she
    2-4  gave unselfishly of her time to others; and
    2-5        WHEREAS, Her wisdom, warm spirit, and valued counsel will not
    2-6  be forgotten by those who knew her; and
    2-7        WHEREAS, Dianne Lauletta was a devoted wife and mother, and
    2-8  she leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by her
    2-9  family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
   2-10        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   2-11  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
   2-12  bereaved family of Dianne Ellen Lauletta:  her husband,
   2-13  John F. Lauletta, Sr.; her daughter, Nancy Susan Lauletta; her son,
   2-14  John F. Lauletta, Jr.; her mother, Virginia Cortelyou; and her
   2-15  brothers, Robert and Roland Cortelyou; and, be it further
   2-16        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
   2-17  members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the
   2-18  Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so
   2-19  in memory of Dianne Ellen Lauletta.
