    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing Maria Almanza for her recent selection as the 1993
    1-4  Employee of the Year by the Grimes County Chamber of Commerce; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Maria Almanza is well known for her outstanding
    1-6  service as a teacher materials assistant at John C. Webb Middle
    1-7  School in the Navasota Independent School District; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, A dedicated and talented employee, Ms. Almanza
    1-9  frequently works late during the week and on weekends to ensure
   1-10  that materials are prepared; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Respected for her organizational skills and
   1-12  dependability, Ms. Almanza is also noted for her positive attitude,
   1-13  amicability, and willingness to help others; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, The Navasota Independent School District and the
   1-15  community have greatly benefitted from the efforts and generous
   1-16  spirit of this accomplished employee; now, therefore, be it
   1-17        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-18  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Maria Almanza for her invaluable
   1-19  contributions to her school and community and extend best wishes
   1-20  to her for the future; and, be it further
   1-21        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   1-22  her as an expression of regard from the Texas Senate.
