    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Sixty years ago, on January 11, 1933, at Sacred
    1-3  Heart Catholic Church in Lott, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Rieger
    1-4  placed great faith and trust in the future and they have been
    1-5  amply rewarded as they recently celebrated their 60th wedding
    1-6  anniversary; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the years
    1-8  throughout their marriage yet Mr. and Mrs. Rieger have steadfastly
    1-9  embraced traditional family and moral values; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Over the years, Wilhelmina and Andrew have grown
   1-11  stronger in their love and devotion as together they have
   1-12  experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Rieger have been blessed with
   1-14  a wonderful family:  their children, Dorothy Scroggins,
   1-15  Wilfred Rieger, Lillian McNeill, Charles Rieger, and
   1-16  Barbara Pressley; and their 17 grandchildren and 11
   1-17  great-grandchildren; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Rieger shared their happiness
   1-19  with their family and friends at a reception hosted by their
   1-20  children and grandchildren on January 9, 1993, at West Rest Haven
   1-21  in West, Texas; now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
    2-1  Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Rieger on their 60th wedding anniversary;
    2-2  and, be it further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-4  this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
    2-5  their lives.
