    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Harold Mickan was recently chosen from a field
    1-3  of accomplished farmers and ranchers as Agriculturist of the Year
    1-4  by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The civic award is presented annually to an
    1-6  agriculturist who has made notable contributions to his profession
    1-7  and his community; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Dedicated to helping others, the superb dairyman
    1-9  has been actively involved with the Zion Lutheran Church and has
   1-10  worked diligently to promote the annual Wurstbraten dinner that has
   1-11  become a much-anticipated event; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Harold Mickan is an esteemed Texan who is truly
   1-13  deserving of legislative recognition for his community leadership
   1-14  and exemplary public service to the citizens of Walburg and the
   1-15  surrounding area; now, therefore, be it
   1-16        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-17  73rd Legislature, hereby express its sincere appreciation to
   1-18  Harold Mickan and congratulate him on receiving the Agriculturist of
   1-19  the Year award; and, be it further
   1-20        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be presented to
   1-21  Mr. Mickan as a token of the admiration of the Texas Senate with best
   1-22  wishes for much success in his future endeavors.
