    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, on February 13, 1943,
    1-3  Colonel and Mrs. W. Keith Henry of College Station, Texas, placed
    1-4  great faith and trust in the future and they have been amply
    1-5  rewarded as they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary;
    1-6  and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Frances and Keith were married in
    1-8  Watertown, South Dakota, during World War II; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the
   1-10  years throughout their marriage yet Colonel and Mrs. Henry have
   1-11  steadfastly embraced traditional family and moral values; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Over the years, the beloved couple has grown
   1-13  stronger in their friendship and devotion as together they have
   1-14  experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Colonel and Mrs. Henry have been blessed with a
   1-16  wonderful family:  their children, Stephen and Maxine Henry, Dale
   1-17  and Mary Henry, and Carl Henry; and their two grandchildren; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, Colonel and Mrs. Henry shared their happiness with
   1-19  their family and friends at the College Station Hilton and
   1-20  Conference Center on February 13, 1993; now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
   1-23  Colonel and Mrs. W. Keith Henry on their golden wedding anniversary;
    2-1  and, be it further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-3  this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in their
    2-4  lives.
