    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Birthdays are occasions to be joyously celebrated,
    1-3  and so it was for Cecil McFall, when he was the guest of honor on
    1-4  his special day; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, This being his 95th birthday, he has been privileged
    1-6  to witness events most of us only read about in history books; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, The blessings of his long sojourn in this world
    1-8  are evident as he recalls tales of years past; he has earned respect
    1-9  and friendship from all who know him; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Still an active and vital member of his community,
   1-11  he is noted for his exemplary enthusiasm for living each day to the
   1-12  fullest; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Friends and relatives of this beloved gentleman
   1-14  gathered in the Mexia Nursing Home to honor him in a manner best
   1-15  befitting the event; now, therefore, be it
   1-16        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-17  73rd Legislature, hereby declare Cecil McFall a treasured citizen
   1-18  of his town and state, wishing him many more years of health and
   1-19  happiness; and, be it further
   1-20        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   1-21  Mr. McFall as a token of esteem from the Texas Senate.
