    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to honor
    1-3  Artice Allen on his 79th birthday; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, This distinguished gentleman was the honoree at a
    1-5  surprise appreciation luncheon given by the Grapeland Junior High
    1-6  School administrators, faculty, and staff in honor of Mr. Allen's
    1-7  birthday; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Mr. Allen was employed for many years by the
    1-9  Grapeland Independent School District on the custodial staff and
   1-10  as a bus driver; after his retirement he returned to the school as
   1-11  a volunteer; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mr. Allen is truly deserving of his long and happy
   1-13  life; now, therefore, be it
   1-14        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-15  73rd Legislature, hereby extend best wishes to Artice Allen for his
   1-16  outstanding contributions to his beloved school and wish him many
   1-17  happy returns for many more birthdays to come; and, be it further
   1-18        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
   1-19  as an expression of highest esteem from the Texas Senate.
