    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize Tom Perry of Grapeland, Texas, for his 19 years of loyal
    1-4  service with Delhi Gas Pipeline Corporation; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Mr. Perry began his successful career with Delhi
    1-6  Gas Pipeline Corporation on January 22, 1974; he served as a field
    1-7  foreman and was respected by his colleagues for his exceptional
    1-8  proficiency and reliable judgment; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Resourceful and well organized, Mr. Perry
   1-10  skillfully handled the complexities and far-reaching responsibilities
   1-11  of a field foreman's position; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, His years of service were recognized at several
   1-13  parties given in his honor; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, A surprise party was also organized for Mr. Perry
   1-15  by his children; the event was held at the Grapeland Senior Citizens
   1-16  Center and was attended by numerous out-of-town guests including his
   1-17  parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Perry, and his sisters; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, Tom Perry is an exemplary gentleman with an
   1-19  engaging personality who is beloved by his colleagues at work and
   1-20  his presence at Delhi Gas Pipeline Corporation will be greatly
   1-21  missed; now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Tom Perry for his many years of
    2-1  distinguished service in the oil and gas industry and extend best
    2-2  wishes to him for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-4  him as an expression of regard from the Texas Senate.
