    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Birthdays are occasions to be joyously celebrated,
    1-3  and so it was for Mrs. Sally Murray of Groesbeck, Texas, on
    1-4  February 13, 1993, when she was the guest of honor on her special
    1-5  day; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Born in 1913, Sally Murray has lived through the
    1-7  events of the 20th century with serenity and wonder; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Known for her sweet smile and generous nature,
    1-9  Mrs. Murray has earned the love and friendship of all who know her;
   1-10  and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Still a vital member of her community, Mrs. Murray
   1-12  is noted for her exemplary enthusiasm for living each day to the
   1-13  fullest; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, The endearing memories of her long sojourn in the
   1-15  world are evident as she reminisces with her husband, Red, about
   1-16  their 55 years together; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Her daughters were hosts at a surprise party
   1-18  attended by family members and friends of this beloved octogenarian
   1-19  who joined to honor her in a manner befitting the occasion; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, Mrs. Sally Murray is truly deserving of the long and
   1-21  happy life with which she has been blessed; now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere birthday greetings with many
    2-1  happy returns to Mrs. Sally Murray on her 80th birthday; and, be it
    2-2  further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-4  as a memento of this special day in her life.
