    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing Ina Becker for her many years of dedicated service
    1-4  to the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, For the past 42 years Mrs. Becker has faithfully and
    1-6  ably served as president of the auxiliary; since its establishment
    1-7  in 1951, she has been committed to the organization; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Noted for her unfailing friendship to the members
    1-9  of the auxiliary, the esteemed individual has earned the respect
   1-10  and affection of those she has so effectively served; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, In honor of her exemplary work, the members of the
   1-12  Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary voted unanimously
   1-13  to make Mrs. Becker president emeritus and a lifetime member of
   1-14  the board, acting in an advisory capacity; now, therefore, be it
   1-15        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-16  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Ina Becker for her 42 years
   1-17  of exceptional service to the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department
   1-18  Auxiliary and extend best wishes for the future; and, be it further
   1-19        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   1-20  her as an expression of the high regard of the Texas Senate.
