    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
    1-3  recognize Doris Strauss of Caldwell for her many years of devoted
    1-4  service to the Farmers Home Administration of the Department of
    1-5  Agriculture; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Doris Strauss dedicated her professional career
    1-7  to serving the citizens of Burleson County and the State of Texas;
    1-8  she worked in the Farmers Home Administration county office for 22
    1-9  years and was promoted to Program Review Assistant in 1988; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, Doris spent the
   1-11  past four years traveling across Texas assisting other district and
   1-12  county offices; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, She handled her responsibilities efficiently and
   1-14  was always considerate of those she so conscientiously served; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Noted for her diligence and ability, the esteemed
   1-16  individual has earned the respect and friendship of all those with
   1-17  whom she is associated; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, To show their appreciation, her colleagues honored
   1-19  her with an open house at the Caldwell office on February 24, 1993;
   1-20  now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Doris Strauss for her 30 years of
   1-23  exceptional service to the citizens of Texas and extend best wishes
    2-1  for a most enjoyable and rewarding retirement; and, be it further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-3  as an expression of the high regard of the Texas Senate.
