    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize the Pilgrim's Pride Nacogdoches Live Production Operation
    1-4  for its outstanding record on no lost time accidents; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Nacogdoches Live Production now has over 385,000
    1-6  man-hours without a lost time accident; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Nacogdoches Live Production has 180 employees
    1-8  and the company has been working toward its award since
    1-9  October 10, 1991; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, The Nacogdoches location includes a hatchery,
   1-11  feed mill, truck shop, live haul operation, breeder and
   1-12  broiler operations, and an administrative office; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, The Pilgrim's Pride Modified Work Program, which helped
   1-14  to make this award possible, received valuable support from the
   1-15  medical community in Nacogdoches; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, The leaders in this company consistently strive for
   1-17  excellence in all areas of operation and the company conducts its
   1-18  business based on a strong commitment to both high quality work and
   1-19  employee safety; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  73rd Legislature, hereby commend the Pilgrim's Pride Nacogdoches
   1-22  Live Production Operation for its admirable goals and high
   1-23  standards and extend congratulations to its employees and
    2-1  administrators on their excellent safety record; and, be
    2-2  it further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
    2-4  company as a token of regard from the Texas Senate.
