Austin State 1-26 University, the Old Stone Fort is a significant part of our past 1-27 that deserves to be preserved for future generations; and 1-28 WHEREAS, Treasured by Texas historians and those who love our 1-29 heritage and tradition, the Old Stone Fort has drawn thousands of 1-30 visitors to Nacogdoches and is of great importance to the economic 1-31 development of the city and the region; now, therefore, be it 1-32 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 73rd 1-33 Legislature, hereby request the Governor of the State of Texas to 1-34 use discretionary funds for the continued operation and maintenance 1-35 of the Old Stone Fort. 1-36 * * * * * 1-37 Austin, 1-38 Texas 1-39 March 16, 1993 1-40 Hon.
