    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                         M. H. "Hank" Mahoney
    1-5        WHEREAS, The death of M. H. "Hank" Mahoney, Jr., who died
    1-6  March 5, 1993, at the age of 57, was greatly mourned by the citizens
    1-7  of Houston; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Recognized for his leadership abilities,
    1-9  Hank Mahoney took an active interest in community affairs, and he
   1-10  will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his friends;
   1-11  and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Born in Illinois on January 8, 1936, Mr. Mahoney
   1-13  was involved in the business life of Houston for many years and
   1-14  had earned the respect of his colleagues; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, A dedicated and diligent worker, Mr. Mahoney was
   1-16  a charter member and president of the Houston Automobile Wrecker
   1-17  Association which was founded in 1953; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, President and founder of Lone Star State Towing
   1-19  Association, Mr. Mahoney offered his experience and industriousness
   1-20  to the organizations he served so well; and
   1-21        WHEREAS, His wise counsel and good judgment will be greatly
   1-22  missed and remembered with gratitude by the citizens of Houston;
   1-23  now, therefore, be it
    2-1        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-2  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the family
    2-3  members of M. H. "Hank" Mahoney, Jr.:  his wife, Kay Lynn; his sons,
    2-4  Patrick, Roger, and Richard Mahoney; his grandchildren, Chris,
    2-5  Amanda, Ryan, Ashley, and Lauren Mahoney; his sister, Ann Harmon;
    2-6  and his nieces and nephews; and, be it further
    2-7        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-8  the members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy
    2-9  from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day,
   2-10  it do so in memory of M. H. "Hank" Mahoney.
