    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, on March 4, 1943,
    1-3  Raymond and Odell Schultz placed great faith and trust in the
    1-4  future and they have been amply rewarded as they recently celebrated
    1-5  their golden wedding anniversary; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the
    1-7  years of their marriage yet Mr. and Mrs. Schultz have steadfastly
    1-8  embraced traditional family and moral values; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their
   1-10  love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and
   1-11  sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Schultz have been blessed with a
   1-13  wonderful family; their children, Raymond and Shirley Schultz,
   1-14  Betty Randermann, Carolyn and James Grenam, Mary Grimmett, and
   1-15  Ronnie and Kathy Schultz, and their six grandchildren and three
   1-16  great-grandchildren have been a source of much pride and joy; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Schultz shared their happiness with
   1-18  their family and friends at a reception at the American Legion Hall
   1-19  in Bryan on March 6, 1993; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Schultz is
   1-21  truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
    2-1  Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Schultz, Sr., on their 50th wedding anniversary;
    2-2  and, be it further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this
    2-4  distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in their lives.
