    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                          Jamie Ann Siegmund
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins with the
    1-6  family and friends of Jamie Ann Siegmund in mourning her untimely
    1-7  loss on February 27, 1993; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, A third-grade student, eight-year-old Jamie was
    1-9  beloved by her classmates and teachers; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Though her life was all too brief, Jamie brought
   1-11  much joy to her parents and family; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, An intelligent and talented student, she
   1-13  consistently manifested concern for others and was sensitive,
   1-14  generous, and caring; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, A source of strength and joy to all who knew her,
   1-16  Jamie Ann lived her life to the fullest--rich in friendships,
   1-17  love of family, and cherished adventures; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, A model for us all, Jamie Ann Siegmund will not
   1-19  be forgotten, and she leaves behind memories that will be treasured
   1-20  forever by her family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to her
   1-23  parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norvel Siegmund; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-2  the members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy
    2-3  from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day,
    2-4  it do so in memory of Jamie Ann Siegmund.
