No. 483 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Williamson County Historical Commission will 1-3 receive the Texas Historical Commission's Distinguished Service 1-4 Award for outstanding achievement in historic preservation work 1-5 during 1992; and 1-6 WHEREAS, The award honors county historical commissions 1-7 and nonprofit heritage organizations that complete a well-balanced 1-8 program of work and are leaders in the historic preservation field 1-9 in their cities and counties; and 1-10 WHEREAS, The prestigious award will be presented on 1-11 April 30, 1993, at the opening session of the Texas State 1-12 Historical Commission's annual preservation conference in Austin; 1-13 and 1-14 WHEREAS, The Williamson County Historical Commission 1-15 fulfilled requirements in the organizational structure, historic 1-16 photographs, and historical markers categories; and 1-17 WHEREAS, The Williamson County Historical Commission is 1-18 truly worthy of legislative recognition for its invaluable work in 1-19 preserving an important part of the history of Williamson County 1-20 and for making this information available to others; now, therefore, 1-21 be it 1-22 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-23 73rd Legislature, hereby commend the Williamson County Historical 2-1 Commission for receiving the Texas Historical Commission's 2-2 Distinguished Service Award; and, be it further 2-3 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 2-4 the staff of the Williamson County Historical Commission as an 2-5 expression of the admiration and appreciation of the Texas Senate. 2-6 _____________________________________ 2-7 President of the Senate 2-8 I hereby certify that the 2-9 above Resolution was adopted by 2-10 the Senate on March 23, 1993. 2-11 _____________________________________ 2-12 Secretary of the Senate 2-13 _____________________________________ 2-14 Member, Texas Senate
