    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, on March 13, 1943,
    1-3  Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Teel of Mexia, Texas, placed great faith and
    1-4  trust in the future and they have been amply rewarded as they
    1-5  recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably through the
    1-7  years yet Mr. and Mrs. Teel have steadfastly embraced traditional
    1-8  family and moral values; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Over the years, the beloved couple has grown
   1-10  stronger in their love and devotion as together they have experienced
   1-11  the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Teel have been blessed with a
   1-13  wonderful family; the joy and respect they share are shining examples
   1-14  to all who are fortunate enough to know them; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Teel shared their happiness with their
   1-16  family and friends at a reception hosted by their children on
   1-17  March 13, 1993, in the fellowship hall of Calvary Baptist Church;
   1-18  now, therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-20  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
   1-21  Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Teel on their golden wedding anniversary; and,
   1-22  be it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared
    2-1  for this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
    2-2  their lives.
