    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Kilgore
    1-3  of Ratcliff placed great faith and trust in the future and they
    1-4  have been amply rewarded as they recently celebrated their
    1-5  50th wedding anniversary; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the
    1-7  years yet Mr. and Mrs. Kilgore have steadfastly embraced traditional
    1-8  family and moral values; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Over the years, the esteemed couple has grown
   1-10  stronger in their love and devotion as together they have
   1-11  experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Kilgore have been blessed with a
   1-13  wonderful family; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Kilgore shared their happiness with
   1-15  their family and friends at a reception hosted by their children
   1-16  on March 13, 1993, at the Ratcliff Senior Citizens Center; now,
   1-17  therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-19  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
   1-20  Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Kilgore on their golden wedding anniversary;
   1-21  and, be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   1-23  this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
    2-1  their lives.
