    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize Sherry Morrison for her 18 years of loyal service as
    1-4  city clerk for Taylor, Texas; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Ms. Morrison began her successful career with
    1-6  the City of Taylor in 1975; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Hardworking and resourceful, she skillfully
    1-8  handled the complex responsibilities of a city clerk's position;
    1-9  and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Since joining the city's staff, Ms. Morrison has
   1-11  consistently manifested exceptional proficiency and reliable
   1-12  judgment; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Sherry Morrison is highly talented and a superb
   1-14  organizer, and she has made many worthy contributions to the
   1-15  Taylor community; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, An exemplary lady with an engaging personality,
   1-17  Sherry Morrison is beloved by her colleagues at work, and her
   1-18  presence on the city staff will be greatly missed; now, therefore,
   1-19  be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Sherry Morrison for her many
   1-22  years of distinguished public service as city clerk of Taylor and
   1-23  extend best wishes to her for the retirement years ahead; and, be
    2-1  it further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-3  her as a token of regard from the Texas Senate.
