    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, on March 17, 1943,
    1-3  Dr. and Mrs. Alvin A. Price of College Station placed great faith
    1-4  and trust in the future and they have been amply rewarded as they
    1-5  recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the
    1-7  years throughout their marriage yet Dr. and Mrs. Price have
    1-8  steadfastly embraced traditional family and moral values; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Over the years, the beloved couple has grown
   1-10  stronger in their friendship and devotion as together they have
   1-11  experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Price have been blessed with a
   1-13  wonderful family:  their children, Bob and Sandra Price and Ann
   1-14  and Bob Agee; and their four grandchildren; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Price were married on March 17, 1943,
   1-16  in Borger, Texas; Dr. Price is the dean emeritus of the College of
   1-17  Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University; now, therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-19  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
   1-20  Dr. and Mrs. Alvin A. Price on their golden wedding anniversary;
   1-21  and, be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared
   1-23  for this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
    2-1  their lives.
