    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
    1-3  congratulate Jaci Wilson who is moving to Washington, D.C., to
    1-4  accept a position with United States Senator Carol Moseley Braun;
    1-5  and
    1-6        WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, Ms. Wilson brings
    1-7  a wealth of experience to her new job; she worked for
    1-8  Senator Rodney Ellis as his special assistant and his district
    1-9  representative before she accepted her new position; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, A diligent and hardworking woman, Ms. Wilson has
   1-11  earned the admiration and friendship of all those with whom she
   1-12  has worked; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Even a partial list of Ms. Wilson's accomplishments
   1-14  is impressive; she attended Xavier University and Texas Southern
   1-15  University, where she majored in journalism and advertising; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, From 1986 to 1990, Jaci Wilson worked for the
   1-17  Rockwell Division of NASA where she served as contract
   1-18  administrator; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, Immediately prior to joining the staff of
   1-20  Senator Ellis, Ms. Wilson worked for the Coastal Corporation,
   1-21  Gas Operations, in Houston, as Coordinator of Gas Supplies and
   1-22  Deliveries; and
   1-23        WHEREAS, Jaci Wilson has carried out her duties as a
    2-1  member of Senator Ellis's staff with integrity and great attention
    2-2  to detail; her presence will be greatly missed; now, therefore,
    2-3  be it
    2-4        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-5  73rd Legislature, hereby commend and applaud the contributions
    2-6  that Jaci Wilson has made to the efficient operation of
    2-7  Senator Rodney Ellis's district office and wish her great
    2-8  success in the future; and, be it further
    2-9        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   2-10  Ms. Wilson as a memento of the appreciation and gratitude of the
   2-11  Texas Senate.
