1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-2 WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to recognize
1-3 Jennifer Trietsch on achieving the Girl Scout Gold Award; this
1-4 fine young woman was presented the coveted award by the West Texas
1-5 Girl Scout Council; and
1-6 WHEREAS, Few achieve this distinguished award, the highest
1-7 honor bestowed on girls in the Girl Scout program; and
1-8 WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Girl Scout oath and
1-9 promise, Jennifer advanced through the ranks of Girl Scouting; and
1-10 WHEREAS, This personable young lady has displayed leadership
1-11 through planning, developing, and conducting a service project; she
1-12 is truly a shining example to other Girl Scouts and citizens of her
1-13 community; and
1-14 WHEREAS, In receiving the Gold Award, Jennifer brings great
1-15 honor to herself, her family, her council, her community, and her
1-16 state; now, therefore, be it
1-17 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-18 73rd Legislature, hereby commend Jennifer Trietsch on receiving this
1-19 prestigious honor and congratulate her on her outstanding achievement;
1-20 and, be it further
1-21 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
1-22 Jennifer Trietsch as an expression of high regard from the
1-23 Texas Senate.
