    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize Sherry Morrison for her 18 years of loyal service as city
    1-4  clerk for Taylor, Texas; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Ms. Morrison began her successful career with the
    1-6  City of Taylor in 1975; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Hardworking and resourceful, she skillfully handled
    1-8  the complex responsibilities of a city clerk's position; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Since joining the city's staff, Ms. Morrison has
   1-10  consistently manifested exceptional proficiency and reliable judgment;
   1-11  and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Sherry Morrison is highly talented and a superb
   1-13  organizer, and she has made many worthy contributions to the Taylor
   1-14  community; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, An exemplary lady with an engaging personality,
   1-16  Sherry Morrison is beloved by her colleagues at work, and her
   1-17  presence on the city staff will be greatly missed; now, therefore,
   1-18  be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-20  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Sherry Morrison for her many years
   1-21  of distinguished public service as city clerk of Taylor and extend
   1-22  best wishes to her for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her
    2-1  as a token of regard from the Texas Senate.
