    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The City of San Antonio and the State of Texas
    1-3  are justly proud of one of their fine young citizens,
    1-4  Jason Alan Covarrubias, who recently achieved the rank of
    1-5  Eagle Scout; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, This outstanding young gentleman has brought honor
    1-7  to himself, his family, Troop 132, his community, and his state in
    1-8  earning the coveted Eagle Badge; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Jason completed a service project which required him
   1-10  to exercise his leadership abilities and at the same time benefit
   1-11  his community; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Few are ever privileged to be named among the ranks
   1-13  of the elite corps of Eagle Scouts; only two out of every 100 Boy
   1-14  Scouts reach this lofty position; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
   1-16  promise, Jason has advanced from Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star,
   1-17  and Life classes to that of Eagle Scout; he is truly an exemplary
   1-18  citizen of the State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-20  73rd Legislature, hereby congratulate Jason Alan Covarrubias on
   1-21  attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and commend him on this great
   1-22  achievement; and, be it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-1  Eagle Scout Covarrubias as a token of the great admiration and
    2-2  high regard of the Texas Senate.
