    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is honored
    1-3  today to have Karen Horn and her honors government class from
    1-4  Midway High School of Waco, Texas, as visitors in the Senate; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The students of today are the citizens, leaders, and
    1-6  statesmen of tomorrow who will carry on with the responsibilities of
    1-7  our democratic heritage; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, It is highly commendable that these young people are
    1-9  demonstrating an interest in the processes of their state government
   1-10  by visiting the capital city and it is sincerely hoped their visit
   1-11  here is a most enjoyable one; now, therefore, be it
   1-12        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-13  73rd Legislature, hereby extend to Karen Horn and her students a warm
   1-14  welcome and that a copy of this Resolution be sent to them in
   1-15  appreciation of their visit.
