    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Landy Felfe of Thorndale was recently awarded the
    1-3  Outstanding Farmer Award in recognition of his exceptional
    1-4  contributions to the citizens of the community; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Mr. Felfe was honored by the Thorndale Area Chamber
    1-6  of Commerce at their 39th annual banquet on March 1, 1993; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Noted for his years of experience and dedication,
    1-8  the successful farmer raises milo, cotton, wheat, and cattle; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Mr. Felfe has contributed his time and energy to
   1-10  his community through his service as director and secretary of the
   1-11  Thorndale Coop Gin and Grain; he also works with the
   1-12  Williamson-Milam County Pest Management program; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, A trustee at Saint Paul Lutheran Church,
   1-14  Landy Felfe has served on the finance board for several years;
   1-15  and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Landy Felfe is truly deserving of the honor
   1-17  bestowed on him, and the Texas Senate is pleased to recognize
   1-18  his special contributions to the citizens of Thorndale and
   1-19  the State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  73rd Legislature, hereby join with the family and friends of
   1-22  Landy Felfe in congratulating him on receiving the Outstanding
   1-23  Farmer Award; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be presented to
    2-2  Mr. Felfe as an expression of the appreciation and high regard
    2-3  of the Texas Senate.
