    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Oak Creek Elementary School in the
    1-3  Spring Independent School District is celebrating the
    1-4  school's 20th anniversary on April 23, 1993, and the Texas Senate
    1-5  is pleased to extend congratulations on this historic milestone; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Through the years, the concerned residents of the
    1-7  Spring Independent School District have supported their schools
    1-8  and worked diligently to provide the best educational opportunities
    1-9  for their children; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, The community spirit that pervades the school
   1-11  district is a source of inspiration and encouragement for its
   1-12  students, teachers, staff, and administrators; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, The dedication to educational excellence exhibited
   1-14  from the beginning has guided Oak Creek Elementary School forward
   1-15  into the present to become a dynamic force in the students' lives
   1-16  that shapes their future; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, By working closely together the families and
   1-18  teachers cooperate to accomplish the vital goal of educating the
   1-19  children and youth of the community; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, Their united efforts will secure for all the young
   1-21  people the highest advantages in their physical, mental, social,
   1-22  and spiritual education; now, therefore, be it
   1-23        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-1  73rd Legislature, hereby express its appreciation to Oak Creek
    2-2  Elementary School and its principal, Pat Reynolds, for the splendid
    2-3  work they are doing to further the development and education of
    2-4  the young citizens of their community; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared as
    2-6  a memento of Oak Creek Elementary's 20th anniversary with best
    2-7  wishes for a most enjoyable occasion from the Texas Senate.
