    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to recognize
    1-3  Rachel Nan Hilliard who has been selected as a 1993 Helene Fuld
    1-4  Health Fellow; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, A student in the Tarleton State University nursing
    1-6  program, Mrs. Hilliard will participate in the International
    1-7  Council of Nurses 20th Quadrennial Congress in Madrid, Spain; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, President of the Tarleton Nursing Students
    1-9  Association, Mrs. Hilliard represents the Division of Nursing on
   1-10  the Student Advisory Council, acting as a liaison between the
   1-11  university's nursing students and faculty and administration; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mrs. Hilliard and her family provide a group home
   1-13  for physically and mentally impaired children, an inspiring
   1-14  manifestation of gentleness and compassion; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Noted for her sincerity and warmth, Mrs. Hilliard
   1-16  exhibits all the characteristics of an outstanding nurse; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, An ideal selection as a Fuld Fellow, Mrs. Hilliard
   1-18  admirably represents Tarleton State University and the
   1-19  State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
   1-22  Rachel Nan Hilliard on receiving her prestigious fellowship; and,
   1-23  be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-2  Mrs. Hilliard as an expression of highest regard from the
    2-3  Texas Senate.
