    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2                               In Memory
    1-3                                  of
    1-4                         Roy Lee Headrick, Sr.
    1-5        WHEREAS, The City of Georgetown lost one of its most
    1-6  beloved residents with the death of Roy Lee Headrick, Sr., on
    1-7  March 17, 1993; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, A native of Williamson County, this
    1-9  distinguished gentleman was born October 21, 1910, to
   1-10  Will and Emma Pearson Headrick; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, A devoted family man, Mr. Headrick cherished the
   1-12  time he spent sharing memories of bygone days with his children
   1-13  and grandchildren; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Living his Christian beliefs every day of his
   1-15  life in thought, word, and deed, Mr. Headrick was a member of
   1-16  Faith Lutheran Church; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Hardworking and highly capable, Mr. Headrick was
   1-18  the owner of Headrick Floor Service for many years until his
   1-19  retirement in 1991; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, A man of honesty and integrity, Mr. Headrick lived
   1-21  by a personal moral code of highest principle; and
   1-22        WHEREAS, His courtesy and consideration knew no bounds and
   1-23  he was greatly admired by all who knew him; and
    2-1        WHEREAS, The death of this fine man will be felt not only by
    2-2  his family and friends but by the entire Georgetown community; now,
    2-3  therefore, be it
    2-4        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-5  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to
    2-6  the members of his family:  his wife, Birdie Nunnery Headrick;
    2-7  his sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Lee Headrick, Jr., and
    2-8  Jamie Headrick, Billie and Betty Lou Headrick, and
    2-9  Jackie and Johnnie Headrick; his daughter and son-in-law,
   2-10  Edna and Leonard Sellstrom; and his seven grandchildren and
   2-11  eight great-grandchildren; and, be it further
   2-12        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   2-13  the members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from
   2-14  the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do
   2-15  so in memory of Roy Lee Headrick, Sr.
