    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize George Sutherlan for his 24 years of outstanding
    1-4  service as a director of the Limestone County Farm Bureau; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, A resident of Groesbeck, Texas, Mr. Sutherlan is
    1-6  a former longtime Mexia resident and a longtime cattleman; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Devoted to the community and to his work,
    1-8  Mr. Sutherlan used his expertise in farming and ranching and his
    1-9  superior administrative skills to forge a successful and productive
   1-10  career with the Limestone County Farm Bureau; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Mr. Sutherlan is respected and beloved by his
   1-12  colleagues at the farm bureau, and throughout his career he was
   1-13  admired for the leadership and wealth of knowledge he brought to
   1-14  his position; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, In tribute to George Sutherlan's many years of
   1-16  loyalty and hard work, he was presented with a plaque from friends
   1-17  and administrators at the bureau; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, The Mexia community and the Limestone County Farm
   1-19  Bureau have greatly benefitted from the dedication and generous
   1-20  spirit of this exemplary gentleman; now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  73rd Legislature, hereby commend George Sutherlan for his
   1-23  distinguished career as a director of the Limestone County Farm
    2-1  Bureau and extend best wishes to him for the future; and, be it
    2-2  further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
    2-4  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
