    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize Krahn Elementary School of the Klein Independent School
    1-4  District on the grand occasion of its 10th anniversary which is
    1-5  being celebrated May 21, 1993; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Since its establishment in 1983, the school has
    1-7  grown considerably and has benefitted from the wise leadership of
    1-8  its principal, Carolyn Sims; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Today, Krahn Elementary is widely recognized as a
   1-10  first-rate institution with a sound academic curriculum and
   1-11  well-disciplined, high-achieving students; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, The school has consistently aimed at providing
   1-13  resources, programs, and experiences that would inspire excellence
   1-14  in student performance, and the students are proud of the fine
   1-15  education they have received; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, The celebration of Krahn Elementary School's
   1-17  10th anniversary is an opportunity for all who have attended the
   1-18  school to express gratitude for the high standards the school
   1-19  upholds and for the excellent educational opportunities it provides;
   1-20  now, therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-22  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Krahn Elementary School for its
   1-23  eminent success and extend best wishes to all associated with the
    2-1  school for a joyous 10th anniversary; and, be it further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-3  the school as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
