    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Suehs of
    1-3  Castroville, Texas, placed much faith and trust in the future which
    1-4  have been amply rewarded for they celebrated their 50th wedding
    1-5  anniversary on April 29, 1993; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Virginia and Charles were married on April 29, 1943,
    1-7  at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in San Antonio; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Since their wedding Mr. and Mrs. Suehs have
    1-9  exhibited the trust and honesty that are the cornerstones of a
   1-10  successful marriage; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Virginia was born in San Antonio and Charles is a
   1-12  native of Castroville; they are involved in various civic and church
   1-13  activities and both have served as mayor of Castroville; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. and Mrs. Suehs have grown
   1-15  ever stronger in love and devotion as together they have shared the
   1-16  joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, They have been blessed with a wonderful family of
   1-18  four sons and eight grandchildren who are the source of much
   1-19  happiness; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, In commemoration of this important milestone in
   1-21  their lives, Mr. and Mr. Suehs were honored at a 50th anniversary
   1-22  celebration on April 29, 1993; and
   1-23        WHEREAS, The long and happy union of this distinguished
    2-1  couple is truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it
    2-2        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-3  73rd Legislature, hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Suehs
    2-4  on their golden wedding anniversary with best wishes for many more
    2-5  years of continued happiness; and, be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-7  Mr. and Mrs. Suehs as a memento of this special day in their lives.
