    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize Joe Lee Thomason for his selection for the 1993 Special
    1-4  Chamber Award by the Greater Centerville Chamber of Commerce; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, A humanitarian and community leader, Mr. Thomason
    1-6  has devoted time and energy to organizing numerous programs that
    1-7  benefit Centerville citizens; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, An exceptionally talented individual with many
    1-9  interests, Mr. Thomason is an effective and dedicated worker whose
   1-10  concern for others is legendary; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Joe Lee Thomason is a man of wisdom, integrity, and
   1-12  uncommon selflessness whose contributions to his community and the
   1-13  State of Texas have made him truly a treasured citizen; now,
   1-14  therefore, be it
   1-15        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-16  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Joe Lee Thomason for his many
   1-17  accomplishments and his dedication to his work and to helping others;
   1-18  and, be it further
   1-19        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
   1-20  as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
