No. 804 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in 1-3 recognizing Mark Wilson who was recently honored with an award for 1-4 the highest yield of peanuts by the Lee County Peanut Company; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson received his honor at the Giddings 1-6 Chamber of Commerce Banquet; and 1-7 WHEREAS, An enjoyable source of protein, peanuts are a 1-8 nutritious and wholesome food, whether eaten as snacks, or made 1-9 into peanut butter or salad dressing, or cooked with meats and 1-10 vegetables; and 1-11 WHEREAS, Mark Wilson is a superior peanut farmer whose 1-12 agricultural skills and expertise helped to produce the highest 1-13 yield of peanuts in his area of Texas; and 1-14 WHEREAS, Countless Texans have benefitted from Mr. Wilson's 1-15 peanuts which are distributed throughout the state for a multitude 1-16 of uses; now, therefore, be it 1-17 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-18 73rd Legislature, hereby commend Mark Wilson for his hard work 1-19 and proficiency and extend congratulations to him on earning this 1-20 award; and, be it further 1-21 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 1-22 him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate. 1-23 _____________________________________ 2-1 President of the Senate 2-2 I hereby certify that the 2-3 above Resolution was adopted by 2-4 the Senate on April 29, 1993. 2-5 _____________________________________ 2-6 Secretary of the Senate 2-7 _____________________________________ 2-8 Member, Texas Senate
