    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in
    1-3  recognizing Craig Dunlap who has recently been selected as Youth
    1-4  Citizen of the Year by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Craig Dunlap is a talented leader in his school and
    1-6  community; he is a member of the Fairfield High School All-District
    1-7  Academic Team, the student council, and the Science Club; he is
    1-8  class treasurer, has played football and basketball, has run track,
    1-9  and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, An Eagle Scout and leader in Boy Scout Troop 668,
   1-11  Craig has served as crew leader at Philmont Scout Ranch in
   1-12  New Mexico and as senior patrol leader and junior assistant
   1-13  scoutmaster; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, A dedicated and active volunteer, he has attended
   1-15  Boy's State and Rotary Youth Leadership Camp and is a member of
   1-16  the Fairfield United Methodist Church youth bell choir; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Throughout his years in school, Craig has
   1-18  consistently manifested concern for others and an avid interest
   1-19  in the betterment of his community; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, An exemplary young man, Craig Dunlap is a source
   1-21  of pride to his family and school, and his worthy accomplishments
   1-22  reflect his high moral principles, his generosity, and his
   1-23  perseverance; now, therefore, be it
    2-1        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-2  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Craig Dunlap on his exceptional
    2-3  achievements and extend congratulations to him on his selection for
    2-4  this award; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
    2-6  as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
