    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  welcome a delegation of noted citizens from Australia to the capital
    1-4  of Texas; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The people of Texas are honored that this
    1-6  distinguished group of visitors has chosen to visit our state this
    1-7  spring; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Their hosts are eagerly anticipating introducing
    1-9  them to barbecue and the Cotton-eyed Joe; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, It is a genuine pleasure to have these distinguished
   1-11  guests in the Lone Star State and it is sincerely hoped that their
   1-12  visit here is a most enjoyable one; now, therefore, be it
   1-13        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-14  73rd Legislature, hereby extend hospitality and a warm welcome to
   1-15  Mr. Santo Santoro, Mr. Peter Batchelor, Ms. Jane Seaborn,
   1-16  Mr. Terry Connolly, Ms. Elizabeth Stoneman, Mr. Gerald Wheeler,
   1-17  Mr. Arthur Chesterfield-Evans, Ms. Linda Hornsey, and their escort,
   1-18  Ms. Julie McKinnon; and, be it further
   1-19        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   1-20  them as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
