By: Nelson S.R. No. 892 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, on April 7, 1943, 1-3 Mr. and Mrs. James R. Curtis of Graford, Texas, placed great 1-4 faith and trust in the future and they have been amply rewarded 1-5 as they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; and 1-6 WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably throughout 1-7 their marriage yet Mr. and Mrs. Curtis have steadfastly embraced 1-8 traditional family and moral values; and 1-9 WHEREAS, Over the years, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis have grown 1-10 stronger in their love and devotion as together they have 1-11 experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and 1-12 WHEREAS, The joy and companionship they share are a shining 1-13 example to all who are fortunate enough to know them; and 1-14 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis shared their happiness with 1-15 their guests at a surprise shower hosted by their family and friends 1-16 on April 4, 1993; now, therefore, be it 1-17 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-18 73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to 1-19 Mr. and Mrs. James R.
