    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize Carol Sheridan McGee on the joyful occasion of her
    1-4  47th birthday, May 14, 1993; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Born May 14, 1946, Carol McGee is a devoted
    1-6  parent who has dedicated her life to the welfare and happiness of
    1-7  her children; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Carol McGee is beloved by her children,
    1-9  Christian Sundance McGee and Laura Elizabeth McGee, and she has
   1-10  faced the difficulties of being a single parent with strength,
   1-11  optimism, and self-sacrifice; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Not only has Carol McGee been a wonderful mother,
   1-13  but she has proven herself as a talented businesswoman; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, For seven years, Ms. McGee has owned and operated
   1-15  McGee Memorial Chapel Mortuary and Crematory in Santa Fe, New Mexico;
   1-16  and
   1-17        WHEREAS, A respected leader in her community, Carol McGee
   1-18  is an exemplary lady who is a source of pride and joy to her family
   1-19  and many friends; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  73rd Legislature, hereby extend heartiest congratulations to
   1-22  Carol Sheridan McGee on her 47th birthday and send best wishes
   1-23  for much happiness in the future; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-2  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
