No. 959 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in 1-3 recognizing Charles Kisling for his 21 years of loyal service as a 1-4 schoolteacher at the Houston Gardens Elementary School and his 30 1-5 years of service in the field of education; and 1-6 WHEREAS, A talented teacher, Mr. Kisling has taught Title 1 1-7 mathematics for the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades; and 1-8 WHEREAS, Devoted to his profession, Mr. Kisling has assisted 1-9 with a wide array of student programs over the years; he has 1-10 sponsored the Science Club and the Awards Day Program, and he has 1-11 served as chairman of the Campus Beautification Committee; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Mr. Kisling's students have greatly benefitted 1-13 from his skillful teaching methods, his sincere concern for the 1-14 individual, and his wise counsel and encouragement; and 1-15 WHEREAS, A dedicated and resourceful educator, Mr. Kisling 1-16 has instilled in his students an appreciation for hard work and a 1-17 love of challenge and learning; now, therefore, be it 1-18 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-19 73rd Legislature, hereby commend Charles Kisling for his many 1-20 contributions to the educational system of Texas and extend best 1-21 wishes to him for the retirement years ahead; and, be it further 1-22 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 1-23 him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. 2-1 _____________________________________ 2-2 President of the Senate 2-3 I hereby certify that the 2-4 above Resolution was adopted by 2-5 the Senate on May 18, 1993. 2-6 _____________________________________ 2-7 Secretary of the Senate 2-8 _____________________________________ 2-9 Member, Texas Senate
