    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased
    1-3  to extend congratulations to the Big Birds Nest bowling team
    1-4  for its outstanding accomplishment; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, On March 30, 1993, the five-man team scored a
    1-6  phenomenal 1262 scratch on Lanes 7 and 8 at the Tropical Bowl
    1-7  in Brownsville, Texas; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The team members who accomplished the remarkable
    1-9  feat and their individual scores are:  Adan Gutierrez--290,
   1-10  Mago Rodriguez--289, Al Ottolino, Jr.--213, Raul Contreras--269,
   1-11  and Jose Delgadillo--201; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, These five bowlers have brought recognition to
   1-13  themselves and their league by their notable display of excellence;
   1-14  and
   1-15        WHEREAS, The formidable group has earned the admiration and
   1-16  respect of their league as well as their opponents by their mastery
   1-17  of the game; now, therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-19  73rd Legislature, hereby applaud the Big Birds Nest bowling team
   1-20  and extend best wishes to the team members for continued success
   1-21  in the future; and, be it further
   1-22        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
   1-23  the members of the team as a token of their memorable achievement.
