    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
    1-3  congratulate Father Clinton Curtis Ressler who was ordained a priest
    1-4  on May 22, 1993; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Devoted to his calling, Father Clinton began his
    1-6  journey to the priesthood in February, 1989; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Over the next few years, he faithfully served the
    1-8  needs of the Catholic Church; in December, 1992, he was made
    1-9  a deacon; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, After attending the University of Saint Thomas School
   1-11  of Theology he furthered his studies at Saint Mary's Seminary; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Realizing the dream of many Catholic priests,
   1-13  Father Ressler studied in Rome, Italy, and at Incisa Valdarno, Italy,
   1-14  where he gained further knowledge about the spirituality of the work
   1-15  of Mary; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, A man of spiritual depth and devotion, Father Ressler
   1-17  faithfully ministered to those who came to him for comfort and
   1-18  guidance; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, Inspirational and caring, this new priest has
   1-20  unselfishly dedicated his time and energy to members of his church;
   1-21  now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-23  73rd Legislature, hereby congratulate and commend Father
    2-1  Clinton Curtis Ressler on his ordination and wish him great success
    2-2  in the future; and, be it further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-4  him as a remembrance of this significant day in his life and as an
    2-5  expression of best wishes from the Texas Senate.
