No. 1013 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, After years of dedication, hard work, 1-3 and perseverance, Pei Wang will be graduating from the 1-4 Texas School for the Deaf on June 2, 1993, at a ceremony in 1-5 the auditorium of the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs 1-6 on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin; and 1-7 WHEREAS, The family and friends of this bright student are 1-8 justly proud of this outstanding achievement; and 1-9 WHEREAS, In completing the requirements for graduation 1-10 from this highly esteemed school, Pei brings great distinction 1-11 to himself, his family, his community, and his state; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Upon graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf, 1-13 he embarks on an adventure into a world that holds countless 1-14 exciting opportunities for him; and 1-15 WHEREAS, A beloved student of this worthy institution, 1-16 Pei will be missed by his fellow students and the faculty, who 1-17 are fortunate in having the benefit of his friendship; and 1-18 WHEREAS, Pei Wang is truly a shining example to all who 1-19 know him; and 1-20 WHEREAS, It is appropriate that the Texas Senate recognize 1-21 the exceptional accomplishments of this young man who has equipped 1-22 himself with skills which will enable him to take full advantage of 1-23 all that the future holds for him; now, therefore, be it 2-1 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-2 73rd Legislature, hereby commend and applaud the great 2-3 achievement of this distinguished young Texan; and, be it further 2-4 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 2-5 Pei Wang as an expression of great admiration and respect from 2-6 the Texas Senate with best wishes for much success in the years 2-7 to come. 2-8 _____________________________________ 2-9 President of the Senate 2-10 I hereby certify that the 2-11 above Resolution was adopted by 2-12 the Senate on May 22, 1993. 2-13 _____________________________________ 2-14 Secretary of the Senate 2-15 _____________________________________ 2-16 Member, Texas Senate
