No. 1086 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure in 1-3 recognizing Robert Eugene Moore for his exceptional artistry as a 1-4 cabinetmaker; and 1-5 WHEREAS, The native-born Houstonian has spent the past two 1-6 decades perfecting his art, and his intricate, delicate design in 1-7 woodworking has been internationally recognized and exhibited; and 1-8 WHEREAS, The sheer beauty and charm of his handicraft uplifts 1-9 and gladdens the hearts of those who are fortunate enough to behold 1-10 his work; and 1-11 WHEREAS, Throughout his career he has been supported by 1-12 the love and companionship of his wife, Jeanne Lynn, and his 1-13 children, Eric Brent, Clinton Troy, Elliott Kyle, Lance Austin, 1-14 Christopher Wayne, and Stacy Lynn; and 1-15 WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate 1-16 express its appreciation to Robert Eugene Moore for the beauty 1-17 he has brought into the lives of others; now, therefore, be it 1-18 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-19 73rd Legislature, hereby commend Robert Eugene Moore for his 1-20 exceptional accomplishments and extend best wishes to him in his 1-21 future endeavors; and, be it further 1-22 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 1-23 the esteemed artist as an expression of the high regard of the 2-1 Texas Senate. 2-2 _____________________________________ 2-3 President of the Senate 2-4 I hereby certify that the 2-5 above Resolution was adopted by 2-6 the Senate on May 27, 1993. 2-7 _____________________________________ 2-8 Secretary of the Senate 2-9 _____________________________________ 2-10 Member, Texas Senate
