    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing Doris Davidson who has been selected as the 1993
    1-4  Secretary of the Year by The Madisonville Meteor; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Doris Davidson is well known for her outstanding
    1-6  work as a secretary for Crown Cable Company; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, A dedicated and talented employee, Ms. Davidson
    1-8  is an exemplary lady with an engaging personality who is beloved
    1-9  by her colleagues at work; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, In tribute to her years of loyalty and hard work,
   1-11  Ms. Davidson received numerous gifts from publisher Edna Herzog;
   1-12  she was nominated for the title by her employer, Mike Taylor; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Crown Cable Company and the Madisonville community
   1-14  have greatly benefitted from the efforts and generous spirit of this
   1-15  accomplished employee; now, therefore, be it
   1-16        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-17  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Doris Davidson for her invaluable
   1-18  contributions to Crown Cable Company and the City of Madisonville
   1-19  and extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be it further
   1-20        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared
   1-21  for her as an expression of regard from the Texas Senate.
