No. 1120 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in 1-3 recognizing Jennifer Helen Lotz and Scott Gray Durham on the 1-4 joyful occasion of their marriage which took place on Saturday, 1-5 May 22, 1993; and 1-6 WHEREAS, The blessed and exceptionally lovely ceremony was 1-7 held at Clear Lake Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas, with 1-8 Reverend Barbara Carmichael and Reverend Andrew J. Good 1-9 officiating; and 1-10 WHEREAS, The bride and groom are both from 1-11 distinguished Texas families; the bride is the daughter of 1-12 Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Lotz of Clear Lake, and the groom 1-13 is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Durham of Lago Vista; and 1-14 WHEREAS, The relatives and friends of both Jennifer and Scott 1-15 are elated that the two families are now united through marriage; 1-16 and 1-17 WHEREAS, Jennifer attended The University of Texas and is an 1-18 office manager for a group of orthopedic surgeons; Scott attended 1-19 the University of California at Davis and is a project manager for 1-20 Restec Contractors of Redmond, Washington; the couple will reside 1-21 in Bothell, Washington; and 1-22 WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is pleased to send warmest 1-23 congratulations to Jennifer and Scott as they begin their new 2-1 life together, sharing in mutual love and respect; now, therefore, 2-2 be it 2-3 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-4 73rd Legislature, hereby honor Jennifer Helen Lotz and 2-5 Scott Gray Durham on this special and sacred event and express 2-6 best wishes for much happiness in the future; and, be it further 2-7 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 2-8 them as an expression of regard from the Texas Senate. 2-9 _____________________________________ 2-10 President of the Senate 2-11 I hereby certify that the 2-12 above Resolution was adopted by 2-13 the Senate on May 28, 1993. 2-14 _____________________________________ 2-15 Secretary of the Senate 2-16 _____________________________________ 2-17 Member, Texas Senate
