                                   SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-1        BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Texas, That Rule
    1-2  12.03, Rules of the Senate, 73rd Legislature, is suspended, as
    1-3  provided by Senate Rule 12.08, to enable the Senate to the extent
    1-4  described in this Resolution to permit the conference committee
    1-5  appointed to adjust the differences between the House and Senate
    1-6  versions of H.B. No. 2049, relating to the effective administration
    1-7  of air quality permitting programs, including compliance with
    1-8  federal Clean Air Act requirements, to successfully conclude the
    1-9  committee's deliberations by taking action on the following
   1-10  specific matters:
   1-11              (1)  Senate Rule 12.03(2) is suspended to permit the
   1-12  committee to omit Section 8 of the bill, which pertains to
   1-13  modifications of existing facilities.
   1-14        Explanation:  This change is necessary to omit a section that
   1-15  was accidentally included in the bill as a result of an improper
   1-16  house floor amendment.
   1-17              (2)  Senate Rule 12.03(1) is suspended to permit the
   1-18  committee to amend the citation in Section 13 of the bill, amended
   1-19  Section 382.0542(a)(3)(H), Health and Safety Code, reading "Section
   1-20  129 of the federal Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 (Pub. L. No.
   1-21  101-549)", and substituting in its place "Section 129 of the
   1-22  federal Clean Air Act  (42 U.S.C. Section 7429)".
   1-23        Explanation:  This change is a necessary technical correction
   1-24  in the citation.
    2-1              (3)  Senate Rule 12.03(1) is suspended to permit the
    2-2  committee to amend the citation in Section 25 of the bill, amended
    2-3  Section 382.062(a)(1), Health and Safety Code, reading "(42 U.S.C.
    2-4  Sections 7641 et seq. and 7661 et seq.)", and substituting in its
    2-5  place "(42 U.S.C. Sections 7651 et seq.  and 7661 et seq.)".
    2-6        Explanation:  This change is necessary to correct a
    2-7  typographical error.
    2-8              (4)  Senate Rule 12.03(1) is suspended to permit the
    2-9  committee to amend the citation in Section 26 of the bill, amended
   2-10  Section 382.0622(c), Health and Safety Code, reading "(42 U.S.C.
   2-11  Sections 7641 et seq. and 7661 et seq.)", and substituting in its
   2-12  place "(42 U.S.C. Sections 7651 et seq. and 7661 et seq.)".
   2-13        Explanation:  This change is necessary to correct a
   2-14  typographical error.
