    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, on May 2, 1943,
    1-3  Mr. and Mrs. James Wright of Eastland, Texas, placed great
    1-4  faith and trust in the future and they have been amply rewarded
    1-5  as they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably throughout
    1-7  their marriage yet Mr. and Mrs. Wright have steadfastly embraced
    1-8  traditional family and moral values; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Over the years, Lea and James have grown stronger in
   1-10  their love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys
   1-11  and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wright have been blessed with a
   1-13  wonderful family; their children have been the source of much
   1-14  enjoyment; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wright shared their happiness with
   1-16  their family and friends at a reception hosted by their children
   1-17  on May 2, 1993, at the First Christian Church Annex; now, therefore,
   1-18  be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-20  73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
   1-21  Mr. and Mrs. James Wright on their golden wedding anniversary; and,
   1-22  be it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this
    2-1  distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in their lives.
